Workplace compliance for modern organisations. I led discovery, prototyping, front‑end, and a full website redesign and build.
Discovery, Prototyping, Webflow • Summer 2025
Visibly had an existing product, but it wasn’t making the impact they needed to really compete in the market.
Key pain points:
Users didn’t understand the dashboard at first glance.
Visual hierarchy didn’t highlight compliance gaps or next steps.
Navigation and data relationships (workers, roles, groups, accreditations) were unclear.
Users couldn’t quickly see their company’s compliance status.
Customers didn’t know what to prioritise.
High bounce rate between tabs; people got lost trying to find what they needed.
Charts and blocks felt passive and were rarely interacted with.
Navigation didn’t match users’ mental models.
Users had to ask Customer Success for basic info.
The interface felt unpolished and immature.
This was a big task, so I kicked things off by heading to London to spend a couple of days with the team, deep-diving into the product.
I mapped out the product’s flow, data structure, and pain points, and explored improvements that stayed aligned to business goals. This gave us clarity on what users really needed, and plenty of ideas to test.
Alongside the app, Visibly also needed a website refresh. Their existing site lacked visuals, personality, and clear messaging around their value proposition. Given the timeline, we focused on a strong landing page with clear CTAs — enough to get the message out and create a solid base to build on.
Rapid prototype delivered in 10 days.
Immediate customer feedback: clearer data and value.
Major visual improvements increased perceived product maturity.
New website designed and built in Webflow in just one week.
Positive real-world testing feedback: “Better than Excel”… always a bonus!
The PM also cold‑tested with site managers on nearby building sites. Their reaction confirmed the core product value was there — we just needed to surface it through better design.
In under two months, the redesigned product was ready to launch, and Visibly now had the tools to impress both current customers and prospects.
Key metrics were achieved — most importantly, helping users understand the dashboard’s value in under 10 seconds.
I’m excited to see how Visibly evolves and hope to jump back in as they plan their next phase.
